The Good News of the gospel takes many different shapes and forms at Knox. Our church family offers a wide spectrum of ministries and opportunities for you and your family.

Children's Ministry

Knox offers a faith filled Children’s Ministry during our Sunday morning services for ages 3 – 11. There are also music/drama opportunities for the children – Children’s Choir, Company of Saints (drama group). Plans are developing for a Junior High Group, ages 12 – 15.

Drop In

Every Tuesday afternoon (Sept. – June) from 2 – 4 pm Knox hosts a Drop In for people in the community. It is a relaxed time of coffee, conversation, and good friendships.

Community Breakfast

Knox is well known in the Waterdown community for its Saturday morning breakfast – 8:30 – 10:30 am, 52 Saturdays a year. Over 70,000 home cooked breakfasts have been served to folks who enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning with good friends and family over the meal table.

Women's Auxiliary

The Knox Women’s Auxiliary sponsor several events through each year that bring people together to enjoy good food and fellowship.

Ladies Bible Study

A community Ladies Bible Study takes place every Thursday morning (Sept. – June) giving the opportunity for discussion and reflection on God’s Word.

Prayer Group

Each Wednesday morning people gather from 10:30 – 11:30am to pray for God’s leading and blessing for the church, the community and individuals in need. The members of the Knox Prayer Chain pray for individuals and situations of need.

Praise Team and Choir

Music is a large part of the Knox Church Family. Our Praise Team meet on Tuesday evening preparing for the leading of worship at the 9 am service on Sunday. The Knox choir plan and prepare on Thursday evening for the 11 am service on Sunday.

Missions Projects

A large focus of our life together involves reaching out to others. In the community we are involved with driving for the Red Cross and helping with Meals on Wheels. Knox is involved with a large number of mission projects including Operation Christmas Child, ministries in the downtown of Hamilton, Teen Ranch Camp, Drummond House, Flamborough Food Bank, Grace Haven, and international missions.
